Here at Roanoke House of Prayer, we believe that the purpose of praise and worship is to lead us into that intimate place with the Lord called the Holy of Holies.  Music is a powerful vehicle to this end.  We often remember songs or even pieces of songs all day long, as though they were imbedded in us.  This example shows that we are “hardwired” to worship our Creator, something we do at Roanoke House of Prayer with all our hearts.  We worship through a variety of contemporary as well as occasional traditional songs, “lifting holy hands” to our God as we bring Him the fruit of our lips.
